A Flying Start: UKC Gains Three New Clients in the First Month of 2014

UKC Company (formerly known as Language) has commenced 2014 with three exciting contract wins, adding Feelgood Theatre Productions, Nutrisential and the Heritage Crafts Association to their growing portfolio of clients.

Award winning theatre company Feelgood Theatre Productions has appointed UKC to develop the season identity and website for their forthcoming high-profile tour. Not About Heroes, written by Stephen MacDonald, explores the relationship between two World War I poets, Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon. Feelgood’s production of the play will premiere in August at the Imperial War Museum, London. The tour website will also incorporate an exclusive poetry competition, Whispers of War.

Nutrisential, a Hale-based company founded by nutritionist Susan Fruhman, has selected UKC to create an exclusive new tea brand for launch into the UK and international marketplace. UKC will create a core brand proposition, alongside creating distinctive packaging designs for the tea range that will set it apart from the competition. As part of the work, UKC will also develop the digital strategy for Nutrisential.

The Heritage Crafts Association (HCA), a crafts advocacy body whose president is Prince Charles, has commissioned UKC to develop the most comprehensive online directory showcasing crafts makers across the UK. This image-rich resource will enable visitors to browse different heritage crafts, and search for makers in their area through a dynamic Crafts Map. Critically, the new presence will also make it easy for visitors to join the Friends of HCA membership scheme.

Speaking about the contract wins Ben Hui, MD of UKC Company, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that 2014 has got off to such a great start. Our success in winning these contracts is a testimony to the hard work of the staff here at UKC, who have personified UKC’s perfect mix of craft and graft during the pitching process. Once again, our customers have trusted our expertise in areas such as branding, digital solutions and packaging. We’re delighted to be working with these three new clients.”
